By accessing or using WebExpenses ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

WebExpenses is a personal expense and income tracking application that stores data in your own Google Spreadsheet. The app provides a user interface for managing financial entries and requires a Google account to function.

3. User Accounts

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the app.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Your Data

All financial data you enter is stored in a Google Spreadsheet in your own Google Drive. You retain full ownership and control over your data. We do not store, access, or process your financial data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

5. Google API Usage

The app uses Google APIs to authenticate you and interact with your spreadsheet. By using the app, you also agree to comply with Google API Terms of Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its related systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data or financial losses, arising from your use of the app.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time without notice. We may also update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
